I am a holistic career counselor, trainer, author, and speaker with more than 10 years of experience in private, public, and non-profit organizations. My practice is centered around using my skills, passions, and values to serve career seekers, fellow career professionals, non-profits, and other organizations making a positive difference (particularly those working on behalf of animals, the environment, and humanity).

Clients:While I enjoy serving job seekers from diverse backgrounds and career stages, I specialize in using my experience and expertise to help clients interested in meaningful work that aligns with their values and uses their gifts, skills, and strengths to make a positive difference in the world around them. I typically work with adults with at least a few years of work/life experience. The services I offer are customized to meet your specific needs, and include: career exploration and transition, assessment, effective career search planning and strategy, encore careers, and social media/social networking. With you as an active participant in your Career Journey™ we’ll use a collaborative approach to help you reach your goals and dreams.

Education, Certifications, and Credentials: A strong belief in and passion for continuous learning and growth, and the desire to provide the knowledge and resources my clients deserve, inspired me to become a Certified Professional Résumé Writer, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Practitioner, and Global Career Development Facilitator with an M.A. in Clinical Psychology. {A colleague once described me as an Information Chaser. His kind observation captures my love of learning and finding creative ways to enrich my life and work with newly learned knowledge.}

Professional Memberships: I am a member of the Middle Atlantic Career Counseling Association, having previously served as president (December 2013-December 2014) and board member, and am a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches. In addition to providing me with trusted, valuable information, best practices, and resources, these organizations also allow me to get to know my colleagues. So, if an initial consultation suggests working together would not be the best fit for your needs, chances are I can provide you with the names of other professionals who may be a better match for you and your goals.

Working Together: To learn how I can help you or your organization successfully and joyfully reach your dreams, please take a look at the Working Together section and contact me by email or phone (410-271-5815) to schedule a complimentary consultation of up to 15 minutes. I look forward to our conversation!
